- Enforces security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Ensures the well-being and safety of students, staff, and facilities.
- Conducts routine physical inspections and security checks of the premises.
- Reports emergencies such as fires and other critical situations while also assisting in their resolution.
- Handles center intrusion incidents promptly and conducts thorough investigations.
- Manages disruptions and supports staff in defusing potentially tense situations.
- Ensures the protection of individuals' rights within the center.
- Maintains accurate and timely security logs, documents, and records.
- Monitors visitor entry and exit by signing them in and out, as well as conducting safety inspections of belongings.
- Adheres to established procedures for the entry and exit of staff, students, and visitors.
- Conducts detailed investigations and maintains precise records of information.
- Operates center vehicles when necessary and transports assigned students.
- Performs pickups and deliveries as instructed, reporting any vehicle maintenance needs.
- Ensures strict adherence to safety protocols by everyone on the premises.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid ND Driver's License.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- While North Dakota law may permit medical marijuana usage for certain conditions, it remains illegal under federal law. A positive drug test with a medical marijuana card will impact the employment offer.
