Provenance Development is a diversified real estate developer that focuses on high-end single family residential homes, new build multi-unit developments, and commercial buildings in San Gabriel Valley.

We are a fast-growing company seeking an Interior Design Assistant to join our team.


The Interior Design Assistant is an entry level position for individuals looking to gain hands on experience in a dynamic work environment.

The assistant job will require 30-35 hours a week, Monday through Friday with some commute to job sites and material vendors.

Interior Design Assistant Job responsibilities include (but is not limited to):

  • Company organization
- scheduling and filing

  • Drafting and updating mood boards, material boards, plans, layout, and elevations
  • Support design tasks from initial planning through final installation.
  • Sourcing samples and purchasing material. Organize and maintain sample library.
  • Updating budget sheet, tracking orders, and maintaining inventory of delivery for design related materials
  • Creating project schedules.
  • Onsite support for material delivery and installation
  • Planning, organizing, and executing staging furnishing

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Degree or Certification in Interior Design is must
  • Experience working in Interior Design, Architecture, or Furnishing/Staging is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of residential and commercial building code is a plus.
  • Excel / Word / PowerPoint (minimum two years required), AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Chief Architect knowledge is preferred
  • Understanding of how to prioritize, organize, and respond accordingly
  • Bilingual in Mandarin preferred

  • San Gabriel Valley, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% Required: between office and job sites within the San Gabriel Valley

Pay:
$55, $60,000.00 per year
