We are currently hiring a
Medical Transport to join our team.

You will be assisting Registered Nurses in all aspects of clinical oversight for clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in The Arc of San Diego's Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) group homes.

The pay range for this position is $19.00/h /h


Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

A typical day will include:


  • Transportation of clients to and from programs, social activities and medical appointments
  • Planning, scheduling and coordinating of appointments
  • Communicating with treating doctors, nurse administrator, RN's, supervisors, coworkers, clients and their guardians as authorized
  • Completing electronic documentation of medical appointments

What you'll need to be successful:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 6+ months work experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
  • Experience in the medical field
  • Valid CA Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Immediate access to vehicle with working seatbelts to transport participants
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs
  • High comfort in using multiple computer /mobile device programs

We'd love it if you:


  • Are multilingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)
  • Have experience with electronic case management systems (Therap)
  • Have experience with individual service plans (goal development)
