Summary:

Provide financial reporting and analysis. Customer service and relationship management are extremely important to success in this position.


Essential Functions:


Financial Reporting Responsibilities

  • Parent company input and reconciliation of account level data in Hyperion (HFM) for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and backlog reporting. This includes monthly actual results, projections, and budget for all financial statements.
  • Creates financial data analyses to support and/or input in parent company consolidation system
  • Monthly Reporting Package
  • Various Quarterly Reports
  • Semiannual Fiscal Reporting Packages
  • Subsequent Year Budget Package
  • Consolidate and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement reporting including projectlevel detailed reporting, variance analyses, month and YTD financial statements and various analytical reports
  • Perform various month end close reconciliations
  • Review corporate overhead, prepare monthly reporting for department heads and assist in quarterly projections process
  • Creates Ad Hoc reporting for management and other corporate departments
  • Prepares data for various industry surveys
  • Familiar working in an ERP system and booking monthend journal entries as needed. JD Edwards experience a plus


  • Strong Excel skills

  • VLOOKUP function and Pivot Tables required. Hyperion (PBCS) Smart View experience a plus
  • Collect and consolidate carbon data for quarterly reporting to parent company
  • Supports interim and yearend external audits
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Working Conditions:


  • The majority of work is completed in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing and walking.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 2 to 4 years of financial analysis or audit (external and/or internal) experience. Experience in the Construction industry and/or International Accounting Standards knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a "Will Do" attitude to meet tight deadlines particularly around monthend close
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrating the ability to identify unique or unusual trends and drive issues through to resolution
  • Strong communication skills including ability to clearly and concisely obtain and relay information both verbally and in writing timely
  • Selfmotivating, high energy, confident personality that can interact with all levels including senior management
