Job Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for keeping the company's customer existing mechanical and refrigeration systems operating in an efficient manner.

This work shall include the inspection, service, maintenance, start - up, testing, balancing, adjusting, repair, modification and replacement of mechanical, or service, maintenance and operations work, to meet customer obligations.

Responsibilities:

• To complete necessary repairs in a professional manner to the best of your ability.
• To be courteous, neat, clean, and in uniform as required by the weather.
• To be responsible for company provided vehicles appearance and mechanical maintenance.
• To keep records, properly completing service work orders.
• To ask for help if a problem cannot be found within a reasonable length of time (usually one hour) after arrival.
• To notify operations manager or service manager of parts needed for completion of job.
• To report to operation manager or service manager when not available to work.
• To be available for after-hours emergency service.

Skill Requirements:

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Trade school or equivalent.
• Previous experience troubleshooting mechanical systems.
• Member, or acceptable member, to the United Association of Journeyman and Apprentices for the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada.
• Ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to squat, climb, or crawl.

Conditions:

Office is open from7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Calls are scheduled by dispatcher during actual working hours. Work during weekends, and non-office hours, as required.


Pay:
$ $43.00 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
