- Supervise all Production phases to assure high productivity and on time deliveries
- Plan Production Schedule to meet shipping dates and volume needs
- Review Drawings and determine the best manufacturing method
- Interface with engineering dept. to assure that drawings can be manufactured.
- Plan Inventory levels and re-order points.
- Determine best methods to manufacture parts and routing.
- Decide on Make/Buy decisions.
- Use manufacturing software for scheduling, costing and loading.
- Work closely with company president to assure manufacturing is in accordance with company plans and requirements.
- Find and qualify vendors and oversee their quality.
- Mechanical Engineer. MBA is a plus.
- 7+ years of hands on manufacturing experience preferably in machinery production environment.
- Must have previous experience managing others.
- 2+ years of estimating.
- Need to know how to read shop drawings and have experience in a shop like ours.
- Must be able to work with Shop Foreman and Purchasing and other Production Personnel.
- Work with sales department to meet their sales need.

Production ManagerHours: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm
This is a key position helping run a growing equipment manufacturer with sales both nationally and internationally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with the right skill set including: knowledge of machine shop practice and manufacturing, excellent scheduling and follow up capability, leadership skills, excellent people and communication skills along with a comfort with manufacturing computer software. We are looking for a strong, driven individual who is comfortable in a leadership position with a strong manufacturing background.
