Description

Orchards is the energy manager of Deutsche Bahn for the railway in Germany. This means we are responsible for the operation of the 16.7 Hz railway power grid, 50 Hz systems, 110kV railway power lines, the direct current supply of the Hamburg and Berlin S-Bahn, as well as for renewable energies, such as the charging infrastructure for battery trains. We also stand for sustainable railway power supply and offer comprehensive energy efficiency measures for railway companies. We are currently looking for a Head of Electrical Systems Maintenance (S-Bahn) (m/f/d) for DB Energie GmbH at our location in Berlin.

As part of our multi-stage onboarding process, you will receive extensive training to lead the S-Bahn power supply division, with the support of a mentor and your team.

Your responsibilities:

As the Head of the S-Bahn power supply division, you will be responsible for a team of approximately 30 employees and oversee complex maintenance projects for primary technology

Together with your team, consisting of 3 master areas, you will be responsible for the extensive and complex maintenance of the primary technology of the S-Bahn power supply

You will be responsible for the timely, condition-based, and legally compliant maintenance of AC and DC power supply systems, taking into account the requirements of the facility management
