    Description

    Our client is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to join their Renewable Energy Division in the Houston area.

    Title: Senior Development Engineer

    Industry: Renewable Energy

    Type: Full Time Direct Hire Exempt

    Location: Houston TX

    Salary: $100K-$103K

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years in the renewable energy industry
    • Construction site experience - Greenfield development experience
    • Bachelors degree in engineering or related
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the year
    • Previous technical experience with mechanical or electrical equipment including installation and operations

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Identify risks, concerns or issues from a technical perspective for greenfield development opportunities
    • Assist in drafting
    • Respond to technical questions regarding technical documents to and from developers, financial institutions and contractors
    • Review system design documents for renewables projects
    • Perform engineering design and analysis of construction changes
    • Prepare technical documents in response to project RFPs
