Staff Accountant

About the Company and Opportunity of Staff Accountant:

Our client is a growing company looking to add a skilled Staff Accountant to their team during expansion. This is an opportunity for a candidate looking to ready to learn and grow with the company, in a friendly, collaborative office space.

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

Accounts Payable: 3-way matching of invoices, data entry
Accounts Receivable: Post payments to ledgers
Financial Statements
Assisting with Payroll and payroll reconciliations
Additional General Ledger duties including journal entries
Additional projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for a Staff Accountant:

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2+ years of experience as Staff Accountant or in an accounting role
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Excellent communication skills
