Admissions Coordinator - Novato, United States - Residential Detox Facility

We are looking for an admissions coordinator to join our team for
Thursday - Sunday. We are a 6-bed fully licensed residential detox-only facility.


Job Summary

We are seeking a support admissions coordinator (AC) to join our team and provide the best supportive quality care to our clients who are making the life-changing decision to get off drugs/alcohol.

AC would be responsible for assisting management in activities relating to admissions for the facility, as well as some program assistant responsibilities.

Those activities include, but are not limited to:

• New administrative intakes
• Answering phones (scheduling intakes, giving information on detox to prospective clients availability, pricing, etc.)
• Helping to maintain a clean facility, this may include room turnover.
• Ensuring all required documents are filled out in KIPU.
• Assist clients through their time in detox.
• Assisting nurse with visual rounds when necessary.

AC is responsible for direct contact with clients.

AC will report directly to the Director of Operations and/or Operations Manager.


Qualifications:

• CPR Certification
• Valid TB Test results
• Sufficient experience to carry out the duties of this position
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Capable of maintaining regular attendance.

Job Type:
Part-Time or Full-Time available (Thursday - Sunday)


Wages:
$ $25.00/hour (DOE)

• Previous work in drug/alcohol treatment and/or detox facility (preferred)
