The Quality Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to organizational quality. This includes regulatory compliance with agencies such as the Joint Commission, CMS, State of NM, and others. The position also involves ensuring compliance with disease-specific certification, Leap Frog, patient satisfaction, public reporting, and national quality designation. The Quality Director is responsible for managing and mentoring staff, enforcing policies and procedures, and maintaining accreditation.
The Director is accountable for the Quality budget and productivity, and has direct reports that include the Disease Specific team and Infection Prevention.
