- Direct all aspects of organizational quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and quality standards.
- Manage Disease Specific Certification, Leap Frog initiatives, Patient Satisfaction, public reporting, and National Quality Designation processes.
- Lead, develop, and mentor staff within the Quality department, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enforce policies and procedures to maintain high standards of quality and patient care.
- Prepare and maintain accreditation, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the Quality budget and productivity, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee Infection Prevention efforts, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to minimize healthcare-associated infections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and drive organizational excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in quality management, incorporating relevant changes into organizational processes.
- Represent the organization in quality-related matters, fostering positive relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; MSN, Healthcare Administration, and MBA strongly preferred.
- Current NM RN license.
- Seven years of healthcare experience with at least three years in a leadership role.
- Experience working in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, program development, budget management, and clinical experience.
- Strong human relations and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
