The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for new talents for a dual study program. With us, you can start your career and study at a university at the same time. The combination of practical experience and theory is the perfect stepping stone for your career.

We are looking for you for a dual study program to become a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the locations Bremen, Hamburg, Osnabrück, and Kiel. Your theory phases will be completed at a university of your choice in Northern Germany, such as HAWK Hildesheim, Hochschule Hannover, TH Lübeck, or another university after consultation. The duration of the program is usually 6 to 7 semesters, depending on the university. During the semester breaks, you will work for us in the company.
What to expect:
Theory phases include:
  • Basic engineering principles (e.g. mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, technical mechanics, and computer science)
  • Basics of business administration and technical management
  • Possibly, depending on the university, key qualifications such as interdisciplinary thinking, project management, and presentation techniques
Practical phases include:
  • Comprehensive insight into the essential areas of railway operations and the associated infrastructure
