Lead Teacher Qualification Requirements:

• CDA, Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field
• 12 years classroom experience (Early Childhood)

Assistant Teacher Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Prior childcare experience required (2 or more years)
• Pursuing degree

Teacher Responsibilities

Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment by:

• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in your classroom.
• Understanding and implementing, when necessary, The Goddard School's emergency procedures.
• Posting schedules that meet the children's need for routine and learning.

Ensuring a well-run, purposeful program responsive to participant needs by:

• Building teamwork.
• Developing lesson plans.
• Managing your classroom according to The Goddard School standards.

These positions are supervised and evaluated by the Director but receives work support and assignments from the Director, Owner or Assistant Director.

A Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment.

Additionally, a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher are responsible to work together and in conjunction with the entire faculty.

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

- child care or early childhood education: 2 years (required)
