With a fleet of over 15 aircraft and approximately 300 employees from 18 nations, FAI is one of the largest providers of General Aviation in Europe.

We are currently seeking a full-time IT Network Specialist (m/f/d) to join our IT team at Albrecht-Dürer Airport in Nuremberg, starting immediately or at the earliest possible date.

Your responsibilities:

  • Administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems (switch/router configuration and maintenance, Sophos Central configurations, etc.)
  • Installation, configuration, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting of network components in a Windows domain environment with MS-Exchange
  • Optimization of availability, security, and performance of the group-wide network environment, as well as further development of the infrastructure system landscape
  • 2nd and 3rd level support within the entire company group
  • Other administrative IT tasks (AD maintenance, mailbox creation, documentation, IP address management, patch management, etc.)

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (or equivalent)
  • Several years of experience in working with Windows networks, Aruba and Sophos systems (including possession of relevant certificates)
  • Confident in operating a VMware environment
  • Fluent in German
