- Troubleshoot and repair electrical /electronic problems on Pregis packaging lines, basic computer networks and accessories/peripheral systems including hardware and software.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction by troubleshooting, repair and if necessary, escalation of ongoing technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent customer relationship skills, utilizing electronic testing equipment, wiring diagrams and applications / tools available on the company's laptop including (Indra works, Siemens, Allen Bradly, and Exor).
- Install new electrical and electronic equipment and electrical wiring according to the National Electrical Code and company electrical standards.
- Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems for Project facilities and equipment.
- Escalate verbally and via email difficult to solve problems to the technical support group in a timely manner. When necessary, work with the installation team to install and commission new equipment.
- Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environment regulations.
- Responsible for station lockout/tagout procedures as mandated by company policy.
- Product knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly verbally and written (internal and external).
- Help to maintain parts inventories and order parts in emergency situation when required.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner, including time sheets, escalation reports, service reports, online training courses as needed.
- Regular attendance and timeliness are expected. There will be times that overtime, or weekend work will be critical functions of the job. Competency (Knowledge, skills, and abilities)
