MFI Recovery Center has been serving the communities of Riverside County since 1972. We are a leader in integrated care, blending physical health services with our well-known addiction and mental health treatment. We offer specialized services for women and their children, teens, and medication evaluations. We offer in-home treatment for adolescents and their families, intensive treatment for high risk children, and many family services.MFI has large addiction services for adults and for those struggling with co-morbid problems related to substance abuse, mental health, and/or physical health problems.
Position Description:
Provide therapy and counseling services in all MFI Treatment Programs. There are positions open in our Riverside, Banning, Hemet, and Murrieta.
Duties:
Duties will include providing individual, group and family therapy to clients/families who have difficulties with substance use and mental health issues.
Therapist should be skillful, knowledgeable, and thorough in conducting counseling, working with school personnel, probation, child protective services and other community based organizations.
Services are provided in our residential, outpatient setting and in-home.
Experience in a variety of assessments, treatment planning and counseling issues including chemical dependency, co-occurring disorders and traumatic experiences is desired.

Knowledge and skill working with diverse populations
Knowledge of Medi-Cal requirements preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to abide by standards of professional ethics
Bi-lingual ability a plus
Valid California Driver's License, with insurable driving record
Must be able to pass drug screen, background check, and TB test and provide appropriate I-9 documentation
