Job Description:

The Heart Matters Foster Family Agency is looking for a full-time Agency Social Worker (ASW) to cover foster child cases throughout the Inland Empire.

The ASW conducts weekly child visits, completes assessments and develops individual case plans and treatment objectives for each client to facilitate successful foster care placement.

The ASW will ensure home compliance and conduct in-home trainings for foster/resource families.

The ASW will consult with the Social Work Supervisor to ensure quality and ethically sound services that also maintain compliance with State, County and Agency regulations.

Must be able to conduct family evaluations, complete home inspections and other social work duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or other related field recognized by Community Care Licensing
• Experience in working in child and adolescent services
• Knowledge of Community Care Licensing Regulations preferred
• Must have the ability to work effectively with others as a member of a treatment team
• Must obtain Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearances from the Department of Justice
• Must meet all requirements set by Community Care Licensing pertaining to the hiring of employees by a licensed community care facility
• Must be licensed to drive and insured in the state of California

From $64,480.00 per year
