Job Description

Physiotherapists assist patients in maintaining, restoring, and improving their mobility and other physical functions. They provide muscle and coordination training measures, particularly for individuals who are limited due to age, illness, or accidents.

Based on medical diagnoses and their own observations, they plan the course of therapy. They conduct targeted individual and group therapies with patients, such as exercises with equipment, treatments such as breathing therapy, massages, electrotherapy, and heat or hydrotherapy.

Physiotherapists also advise their patients on the effects and suitable aids, motivate them to be active and persistent, and guide them in independently performing physiotherapeutic exercises.

Training Content

In the theoretical and practical training (2900 hours), students learn the anatomical, medical, and social science basics, as well as targeted assessment and the application of appropriate treatment measures and physiotherapy techniques and concepts.

Under the guidance of experienced mentors
