    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in El Cajon, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting students' development and independence through therapeutic interventions. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, serving an elementary caseload.     Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, and functional skills.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' occupational therapy goals.
    • Provide direct intervention services to students individually or in small groups.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
    • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
    • Educate and guide teachers and parents on strategies to support students' occupational needs in the classroom and at home.
    • Complete necessary documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and treatment notes.
    • Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
    • Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Valid California license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
    • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
    • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
    • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in occupational therapy.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
