Job Description:

The _Golf Cart Attendant_ will be responsible for giving the highest level of guest service, while maintaining the golf car fleet, staging area, practice facility in an appealing manner.


Responsibilities:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Enthusiastic greeting of guests (by name if possible)
  • Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner making them feel welcome
  • Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels
  • Working knowledge of club operations
  • Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.
  • Perform duties and meet requirements for tournaments, club rentals and services which the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Professionals deems necessary.
  • Promote the interests of the resort in providing service to the guest.
  • Provide a guest friendly environment

HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:


  • Must be able to operate the handheld radio communication device
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with fellow staff members, valet and bell staff
  • Must be knowledgeable in trail access locations, bike rentals and appropriate fishing locations

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
  • Assist in other departments as needed
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings

TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:


  • Radio

ENVIRONMENT:

Outdoor atmosphere in multiple weather conditions.


Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work Experience)

  • Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings
