Supervises the daily operations and staff of the Gift Shop. Participates in developing and implementing policies and procedures for Gift Shop operations. Participates in the selection and acquisition of merchandise to meet current and future customer demand.

Job Responsibility

Promotes Retail Services department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members.

Leads the activities of assigned Retail Services team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives.

Assists in the supervision and training of staff; evaluates products and vendors, and recommends procurement of store products.

Maintains inventories, pricing policies and overall cleanliness of the store; maintains opening and closing procedures, daily reconciliation, inventory control, loss prevention, associate productivity, and strict merchandising standards.

Conducts sales transactions and handling of payment.

Assists in preparing and reconciling cash drawers.

Establishes rapport with current and potential customers and their clinical providers to understand their product needs.

Maintains inventory and Point-Of-Sale (POS) reporting for designated location.

Assists staff in troubleshooting POS issues.

Manages and schedules volunteers.

Delivers cash drawer and deposits to Manager or secure designated location.

Job Qualification

Associates Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

4-6 years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required.
