Girard is looking for skilled and passionate cooks to join our team. As a cook, you will be responsible for all tasks related to food preparation. This includes creating menus, purchasing ingredients, preparing and storing food.

You will also be in charge of organizing the kitchen workflow to ensure that dishes are completed on time and in the correct order.

Our cooks are skilled in cooking, frying, baking, and garnishing all dishes. They also calculate prices and provide recommendations to guests.

What education level is required?

There is no specific educational requirement, but most establishments prefer candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent.

The dual training program is structured as follows:
1st year: 3 days in the workplace, 2 days in vocational school
2nd year: 4 days in the workplace, 1 day in vocational school
3rd year: 4 days in the workplace, 1 day in vocational school

The vocational school is located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The training program starts every winter (February/March) or summer (August/September). Join our team and help us maintain our reputation as one of the best in the region.
