What You'll Do:


Compliance Position Essential Functions:


  • Shipping and Handling:_
  • Use International Shipping from the Engineering Department.
  • Use Domestic Shipping for compliance testing.
  • Utilize UPS to ship Units to Mark Nazar, testing agents and agencies in China, India, Japan, Canada, and the United States.
  • Requests for Stock for

Engineering Department:
_

  • Create and submit "Requests for Stock" forms for Engineering Staff in addition to Compliance Manager's requests for products used for Safety/EMC testing.
  • Track any additional stock requests made independently by Engineering staff.
  • Records must include the Serial Number, date shipped and delivered to its destination and where the product is located at all times. In addition, a record of every product destroyed or returned must be maintained.
  • A product is indicated as having been destroyed only if photos have been received and saved for future reference.
  • Distribute the spreadsheet to all concerned parties the 1st of each month.
  • Compliance and Safety/EMC Testing:_
  • Collect the following documents and send to all testing agencies before quoting as directed by Compliance Manager.
  • Owner's Manual
  • Schematics
  • Pre-Submission Parts List
  • Spreadsheet from Engineers to collect part number information.
  • Compliance and Safety/EMC Test Documents from comparable past products.
  • Check Compliance, Safety and EMC Testing results received.
  • Assure required standards are met for all McIntosh Markets.
  • Upload successfully completed Compliance Testing Reports after review to the network for Dealer access.
  • Print a copy and place the reports in labelled folders for Compliance Manager.
  • Create "Declarations of Conformity" document for each product after tests are completed.
  • Assign the next sequential number to the DOC from the Master spreadsheet and enter details of all tests completed.
  • Have it signed, scanned and uploaded to the network for Dealer access.
  • Original DOC's are submitted to Compliance Manager.
  • Obtain and ship requested component samples from stock and ship to Regulatory Agencies as testing of product progresses.
  • RoHS

Compliance Testing:
_

  • Receive new and modified Item Masters and drawing slips and enter information into the RoHS database using Green Screen.
  • Enter:
  • Compliant tag in two locations of the database.
  • Source(s) of all parts whether purchased or manufactured.
  • Drawing numbers and rev numbers for manufactured parts.
  • Part numbers for purchased parts.
  • Research newly purchased parts to ensure RoHS compliance.
  • Save records and proof of RoHS compliance.
  • Contact Engineering Staff as required for statements of RoHS compliance if none can be found.
  • Prepare Firmware Updated Discs by creating CDs
  • Other duties as assigned by Compliance Engineer/Manager.

Engineer Technician Essential Functions:


  • PC Board prototype assembly.
  • PC Board prototype testing and trouble shooting.
  • Assist Engineers with prototyping and testing of new products.
  • Interfacing between Engineering and Production.
  • Assembly and troubleshooting of new production sample products.
  • Being prompt and on time for scheduled shift.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
  • Attendance

What You'll Need:


  • At least Two (2) year Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Ability to multitask.
  • High ability to stay organized and task oriented.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:
$21.30-$27.00****_Hiring rates may be dependent on several factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location, or special skills*_
