Description
The following is a description of some of the duties that will be involved.
- Presentations for group leaders
- Organize various travel shows in coordination with the planning and marketing department.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all new and prospective customers and monitor all activities for sales calls.
- Evaluate and select prospective accounts to increase business and revenue for the organization.
- Secure new clients by networking, prospecting, etc.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Come up with strategies, tactics, profit targets, sales plans, etc.
- Plan new programs to increase business and profits.
- Work with the marketing manager for sales initiatives on different mediums like the internet, print and electronic media.
- Represent the organization at travel shows and events.
- Follow up on the progress made in achieving the goals and come up with solutions to any problems faced.
- Keep accurate records.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to take initiative and be a strong leader.
- Lead by example, always maintain a professional image, follow company policies.
- Written and verbal communications skills essential, ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff members.
- Computer skills required, ClientBase program knowledge a plus.
- Ease working with the public.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must be able to work daytime hours with occasional evening/weekend hours for events.
Pay:
$45, $47,000.00 per year
