Description

The following is a description of some of the duties that will be involved.

  • Presentations for group leaders
  • Organize various travel shows in coordination with the planning and marketing department.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with all new and prospective customers and monitor all activities for sales calls.
  • Evaluate and select prospective accounts to increase business and revenue for the organization.
  • Secure new clients by networking, prospecting, etc.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Come up with strategies, tactics, profit targets, sales plans, etc.
  • Plan new programs to increase business and profits.
  • Work with the marketing manager for sales initiatives on different mediums like the internet, print and electronic media.
  • Represent the organization at travel shows and events.
  • Follow up on the progress made in achieving the goals and come up with solutions to any problems faced.
  • Keep accurate records.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Ability to take initiative and be a strong leader.
  • Lead by example, always maintain a professional image, follow company policies.
  • Written and verbal communications skills essential, ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff members.
  • Computer skills required, ClientBase program knowledge a plus.
  • Ease working with the public.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work daytime hours with occasional evening/weekend hours for events.

Pay:
$45, $47,000.00 per year
