Summary:
The Clinic Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CRM clinic in Van Nuys. This position will oversee and direct the clinical and supportive staff of the clinic (PT and OT).

The position is responsible for maintaining appropriate clinical staffing levels and directs and oversees the activities of therapist, therapy assistants, and therapy Aides.


Reporting and relationships:
The CRM Clinical Manager reports directly to the CRM Director works collaboratively with management in the Van Nuys location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Reports to work as scheduled each day.
  • To act in a manner that is indicative of team spirit and cooperation.
  • Works cooperatively as a team member and supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Southern California Orthopedic Institute.
  • Complies with SCOI Policy and Procedures.
  • Upholds the goal of patient satisfaction and high service.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of physical and occupational rehabilitation programs that meet the needs of our patient population, including elite sports performance.
  • Fosters the growth and development of CRM clinicians by creating opportunities for additional training and subspecialty certification, participation in conferences and research, and building relationships between the CRM clinicians and SCOI physicians.
  • Provides strong leadership and management of CRM clinic operations to include but not limited to high-quality patient care delivery, fostering a culture of trust and teamwork amongst CRM employees, maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and increasing productivity.
  • Builds and maintains high-functioning clinical teams focused on quality service delivery, meeting or exceeding set key performance metrics, and optimizing performance, while maintaining compliance to include holding him/herself as a role model.
  • Manages PTO requests and time edits of clinical personnel, ensures adequate therapist coverage for patient care to include coverage in CRM satellites.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures; participates in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures for CRM as needed.
  • Assists director as needed in department planning and development initiatives.
  • Engages in direct patient care and meets minimum productivity standards as set by the CRM Director.
a. Evaluation of patients referred for occupational therapy.
b. Establishes a treatment plan of care for each patient.
c. Provides treatment using accepted treatment modalities and procedures geared to progressing patients towards meeting their functional goals.
d. Safely delivers treatment considering the physical requirements of the job.
e. Completes all patient documentation the day services are rendered.

  • Attends a minimum of 30 contact hours per year of continuing education that can include up to 10 contact hours received through SCOI sponsored educational opportunities.
  • Maintains licensure as issued by the State of California and is in good standing with the Office of Inspector General and California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Maintains current CPR certification for healthcare providers.
  • Evaluates clinical expertise and performance of therapists, provides feedback, and assists with performance evaluations as assigned.
  • Assists with recruitment efforts for new therapists into the practice; promotes CRM brand.

Pay:
$ $68.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
