We are a small business with a significant responsibility, managing over 100 vacation rental homes in the premier South Shore Lake Michigan destination. Our homes are located in idyllic resort-style communities near the beach, offering a range of resort-style amenities and services. We take pride in our exceptional staff and strong reputation, balancing hard work with moments of relaxation while enjoying the sun, sand, and vacation vibes throughout the summer.

• Schedules are semiflexible with weekends required. Responsibilities include cleaning the interior of vacation rental homes, ensuring tidy and sanitary amenities for guests. Tasks involve cleaning floors, making beds, laundry, dishes, dusting surfaces, restocking supplies, and reporting any damages inside the homes. Attention to detail, physical strength, and a positive attitude are essential for this role. Occasional deep cleaning may be necessary, and travel between job locations should be expected. Potential for advancement within the company based on attitude and dedication.

• Clean vacation rental properties and maintain their appearance.
• Perform various cleaning tasks in different areas such as the kitchen, living room, dining room, bathrooms, dusting, mopping, and sweeping.
• Keep public access areas clean and meet employer standards.
• Monitor and report cleaning supplies inventory.
• Maintain organized housekeeping storage rooms.
• Report maintenance concerns or repairs to the supervisor.
• Adapt to changing job duties as needed.

• Previous work-related experience.
• Prior housekeeping or residential experience is a plus.
• Valid transportation.
• Capability to lift and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30lbs.
• Team player mentality.
• Adherence to cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and security procedures.
• Organizational skills to manage work schedules and property statuses.
• Dispose of trash correctly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and materials efficiently.
• Comfortable with using a smartphone.
• Reliable transportation to and from work locations.
