What does this role entail?
- Serve as first contact by responding to staff queries via chat, helpdesk ticket, or phone
- Develop best practices and train other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
- Write, edit, and revise training manuals for new and updated software and hardware
- Run reports to analyze common complaints and problems
- Provide technical assistance for questions and problems including;
- Diagnosing system errors and issues
- Install or change software as needed
- Remotely access hardware or software to assist staff and fix problems
- Remotely resolve problems with networks and computer systems
- Follow up with staff to ensure full resolution of issues and satisfaction
- Keep helpdesk tickets in appropriate order with detailed notes
- Request feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve training methods
What do I need to bring do the table?
- Minimum two years of experience working in a IT support environment
- Proven computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
- Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and software
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Office 36
- Experience with network repairs and analysis
- Education or certification in computer repairs and troubleshooting, MCSE or MCP designation, preferred
- CPR/AED, and First Aid Certification, must include Adult and Child/Infant, obtained within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organizations:
- American Red Cross
- American Heart Association
- American Safety & Health Institute
