Material Handler

ThermalCare Job Type Full-time Description Thermal Care, part of the IPEG Industrial Group, is a leading manufacturer of process cooling equipment and systems for applications worldwide. As an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer, Thermal Care provides heat transfer equipment for over 50 industries and specializes in meeting the specific needs of our customers by offering both standard and custom designed industrial process cooling solutions. Some of the industries served include plastics, laser, heat treating, food processing, machine tool, plating, anodizing, chemical, die casting, optical coating, and printing.

**Role**

The Material handler performs various duties to transport material throughout the manufacturing facility and process inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Unload, receive and unpack material and check receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects;

Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using a fork lift;

Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipments, transfer, receipts, and picks;

Pull parts for picklists accurately and efficiently;

Efficiently and accurately perform all activities related to returns;

Perform all material transaction using scan to transact;

Package material to prevent damage during transit;

Safely and efficiently transport material throughout the facility using lift trucks;

Help in other areas as assigned

Requirements

**Qualifications and Work Experience**

High School Diploma or GED;

Previous experience with Inventory Management systems (M2M) desired;

Understand safety regulations and protocols;

Experience driving fork lifts is strongly desired;

Must be legally able to work in the United States;

Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.
