- 2-3 years applicable job experience
- Bachelor's degree or other related education
- Experience in leadership - preferably production leadership
- Experienced and Licensed Forklift driver
- Computer skills to adeptly run MS Office
- Prolonged periods standing and walking through production and warehouse areas
- Occasional periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to work near food ingredients, exposure to food allergens
- Location: inside an air-conditioned manufacturing and warehouse environment
- You must be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- You must be able to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Supervises all production staff in the facility to ensure all manufacturing runs reliably and efficiently
- Hires, trains, and reviews performances of production employees
- Foster team environment while mentoring junior leadership team members
- Champion quality control and food safety standards
- Ensures all production employees adhere to and practice the regulations and standards of food safety and personal safety
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment
- Enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures
- Demonstrates the knowledge of equipment and machines utilized for production in the facility
- Participates in audits, training, and meetings to implement corrective practices and maintain proper procedures
- Identify and lead Continuous Improvement projects with production teams
