Duration:
06 Months contract (Potential Temp to Perm)

Payrate:

$21/hr.

Shift:
1st Shift (Monday - Friday)

The Quality Inspector inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance instructions.

Responsibilities:

Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
Participates in gathering statistical data from product and processes.
Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro

- mechanical assemblies and subassemblies

Visual inspections of soldered assemblies to IPC-A610 Class 3 standards, and harness assemblies.
Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.
Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues.
Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies, and tooling.
Locate and utilize correct part, assembly, and material specifications or drawings.
Use tolerances and dimensions to be required accuracy and precision.
Prepare certifications in accordance with appropriate regulation.
Filing of both hard copy and electronic records.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED
25 years related experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

Read, write and understand English.
Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with mínimal supervision.

Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment

Must have intricate knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, assembly drawings, parts.

- lists, workmanship standards, standard inspection procedures, M.O."s, wiring diagrams and be able to add tolerances using decimals, etc.

Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches
Proficient computer skills
Read written/printed specifications and drawings.
