Payrate:
$21/hr.
Shift:
1st Shift (Monday - Friday)
The Quality Inspector inspects a range of components, parts and/or products for the area assigned as prescribed by all applicable specifications and quality assurance instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
- Participates in gathering statistical data from product and processes.
- Performs visual inspections of soldered connections, mechanical inspections of electronic and electro
- Visual inspections of soldered assemblies to IPC-A610 Class 3 standards, and harness assemblies.
- Prepares and completes all necessary documentation for reporting acceptance/rejection of inspected and/or tested items.
- Identifies design, process or other inefficiencies and reports quality concerns and issues.
- Performs routine quality inspections on engineering designs, assemblies, piece parts, final assemblies, and tooling.
- Locate and utilize correct part, assembly, and material specifications or drawings.
- Use tolerances and dimensions to be required accuracy and precision.
- Prepare certifications in accordance with appropriate regulation.
- Filing of both hard copy and electronic records.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED
- 25 years related experience.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Read, write and understand English.
- Ability to follow established job instructions and procedures with mínimal supervision.
Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment

- Must have intricate knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, assembly drawings, parts.
- Must be able to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches
- Proficient computer skills
- Read written/printed specifications and drawings.
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work setting:
- Inperson
