Minimum Qualifications:

Duties:

Uniformed position. Functions include active participation in evidentiary operations.

Performs processes to manage the flow of evidentiary items to and from the police department to include pick up of evidence, transport, barcode and store.

Process lab forms, compile evidence, pick up and deliver to state lab.

Performs quality assurance inspections of documents, items and processes to ensure there are no inconsistencies or discrepancies that may invalidate the usefulness of the item(s) in court proceedings, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all items.

Provides customer service to internal and external customers at service window. Performs clerical duties; answers and directs telephone calls, types, performs data entry and reporting, files, runs errands. Assists with logístical matters such as uniforms, supplies, equipment and vehicle fleet needs of the department. Assists with daily lockers as needed; shifts, lifts and sorts evidence. Testifies in court. Perform other work as required.

Shift:

28 hours week; Monday - Friday; shift varies
