"Whatever I.T. takes, we'll fix I.T."I.T. Matters, Inc. founded in 2012, is an MSP serving SMB in the greater Houston area. We are expanding and looking to grow our team. The position is onsite at our Houston office and requires additional travel to local sites around town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active Directory: Reset passwords, and troubleshoot replication, authentication, and Group Policy issues.
- Application Support: Diagnose and resolve software issues, liaise with vendors if needed, and provide advanced user support.
- Windows OS Errors: Verify OS errors, and determine formatting/reimaging needs
Hardware Support:
Troubleshoot PC hardware, and identify warranty-eligible equipment.
- Onboarding C Offboarding: Create/terminate user accounts, and set up workstations per procedures.
- Client Interaction: Engage directly to address technical needs.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate efficiently within the support team.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine ticket processes, and maintain detailed documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience being employed in an IT position with experience with Windows Desktops and Windows Servers. Preferred experience with ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, and I.T. Glue, or equivalent. Datto will be favored.
- Utilize Automate (remote) to serve client environments and troubleshoot system alerts Provide support and technology guidance to fellow Level 1 and 2 helpdesk team members
- Communication with clients and management as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel around Houston, and must have the following on hand:
- Current Driver's License
- Current Car Insurance
- The vehicle must either be under your name or you are a registered driver under the current insurance policy
Compensation and Benefits:
- Fulltime, Salary range: Up to $75,000 per year, based on experience Health, dental, vision, and disability insurance
