Program Manager Needed For Leading Aerospace Manufacturer

This Jobot Job is hosted by: My client is a leading manufacturing company, focused on projects for the Aerospace & Defense industry.

A successful Program Manager will have intimate knowledge of the process and lead process improvement efforts using both lean and quality tools.

This is a dynamic position which requires most of your time spent interacting with the customer, product, operators and management to achieve the production and schedule goals of the customer.

The responsibility of the Program Manager is to maintain a continuous and controlled operation to produce a given product.

The Program Manager will guide multidisciplinary teams developing integrated hardware solutions, unique material, and machining technology.

Internally, you will lead teams through an Agile development process, maintain schedules and budgets, and provide overall direction for successful completion of programs.

Externally, you will work with customers on technical requirements, help bring the customer's vision to reality, build, and maintain customer relationships, as well as work closely with our internal manufacturing, suppliers, and leadership teams.

Continuous Process Improvement (including Lean Manufacturing Concepts)
Define Critical Mechanical Inputs
Responsible for Overseeing Defect Analysis (directing Technicians) and directing response and/or corrective actions in the work center for MRT's
Process Training (including training operators for all process related ATI & DOI changes) and standardization of all operations
Must develop teams and lead/participate in said teams to accomplish process improvements
