  • From ideation to installation, ARA supplies unique antenna systems in both highvolume and smaller quantities to meet our customers' needs and ensure success. Our US locations have fully staffed outdoor antenna test ranges, engineers, and onsite manufacturing lines and machine shops.

Job Summary


ARA Program managers are responsible for planning and overseeing one or more programs to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

Program managers plan and designate program resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.


Essential Functions:

  • Manage and direct the daily execution of multiple programs or large
- scale programs within contract requirements to assure that cost, schedules, and performance goals are met.

  • Lead all meetings and the integrated product team (kickoff through program close).
  • Provide interface, communication, and coordination with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to existing contracts and bid and proposal activities.
  • Represent management at program reviews, meetings, seminars, etc.
  • Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts/subcontracts. Allocate and control contract budgets for labor, material, travel and purchased services. Report program status to senior management on a monthly basis.
  • Formally identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risk throughout the program lifecycle. Obtains management approval prior to making decisions that will cause deterioration of established program cost and schedule objectives.
  • Perform variance analysis of schedule and cost on a formal and informal basis and present them to senior management (i.e., earned value management system)
  • Assure that conduct of contractual requirements is executed in accordance with appropriate regulatory and Company policies and procedures (i.e., federal acquisition regulations).Proven ability to manage changing priorities and aggressive timelines

Experience and Skills

  • 510 years of workrelated skill, knowledge, or experience
  • Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office tools including Project
  • Experience with commercial and military customers.
  • Experience with Radar, SATCOM, MUOS, and RF Products (30MHz 10GHz) a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Technical Degree Required
  • PMP Certification is a plus
