Job Overview:
Seeking compassionate Caregiver to play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to my brother with moderate dementia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with dementia
- Assist with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, bathing
- Advocate for my brother to ensure he gets the meal he wants, seek out nurse if Tylenol is needed for a headache.
Skills:
- Knowledge of dementia care practices
- Understanding of resident rights and advocacy
- Ability to work with individuals with dementia
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate and patient are REQUIRED skills
Skills:
- Background in social work or related field
- Familiarity with working with people with dementia
