- Network Optimization: Potentially making adjustments to your network settings (like prioritizing certain types of traffic) to optimize it for streaming media content. This might involve tasks like:
- Quality of Service (QoS): Prioritizing media traffic for smoother playback.
- Buffer Management: Tuning buffer settings to minimize buffering interruptions.
- Channel Selection: Choosing the optimal WiFi channel to avoid congestion that can disrupt casting.
- BA or MA in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience
- Android Networking API
- Experience in troubleshooting issues related to the Wi-Fi supplicant (authenticate, encryption, and connect to a wireless network)
- Experience with Wi-Fi Security Protocols such as WPA2 and WPA3
- Experience with any of Airplay, Miracast, WiDi, GoogleCast, DLNA is a plus
- Tools like Wireshark
