    Job Description

    POSITION WITH A RETENTION BONUS: $3000 (paid in three installments: $1000 at 90 days, $1000 at 6 months, and $1000 at one year, averaging a minimum of 20 hours per week).

    Personal Care involves non-skilled assistance provided by unlicensed caregivers or CNAs to individuals facing challenges in daily activities. Services include:

    • Personal Care Assistance - assisting with personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming, and oral care.
    • Homemaking Services - meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping.
    • Light Chores - tidying up, laundry, and making beds.
    • Accompaniment - accompanying clients to appointments.

    As a Personal Care Provider, you are expected to:

    • Work within your capabilities and training.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and colleagues.
    • Follow proper procedures for personal care tasks.
    • Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
    • Document services accurately.
    • Notify superiors of any client condition changes.
    • Comply with regulations and protect client information.
    • Use proper safety and infection control measures.
    • Respect client rights and agency policies.
    • Attend meetings and in-service sessions.
    • Follow agency procedures and submit timesheets promptly.
    • Collaborate with the care team and provide feedback for improvement.
    • Engage in educational programs as required.
    • Refrain from providing unauthorized services outside agency guidelines.
    • Communicate any special needs to the agency.
