    Job DescriptionSureStaff has an immediate need for a Production Control Operations Clerk for a Direct Hire role in Carol Stream, IL. Salary is $49920 with full benefits from day one.
    POSITION: Production Control Operations Clerk – Full Time DEPARTMENT: Production ControlHOURS/DAYS: Monday -Thursday 7am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch Or Monday – Thursday 7am to 4:30pm with 30 min. lunch Friday 7am to 11am or 8am to 12pmESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Provide clerical/administrative support to production control department.
    • Generate, edit and file work orders/purchase orders.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Create, review, release, and close production work orders made from raw material and or finished stock in ERP system. Update due dates and file as needed.
    • Enter various data and generate/analyze various reports as needed by production control.
    • Administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.
    • Run/review various reports; data entry; and other projects as assigned for production control and potentially other departments (purchasing, engineering, and maintenance.
    REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
    1. Manufacturing/Supply Chain Experience
    2. Positive, professional, and energetic attitude.
    3. Strong attention to detail.
    4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    5. Excellent reading and comprehension skills
    6. Reliable, organized, and focused.
    7. Able to multitask
    8. Team player that can collaborate with various departments.
    9. High degree of proficiency in ERP systems
    10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
    11. Proficiency at typing.
    PROBLEM SOLVING/Decision Making
    • Trained and guided by professionals or department managers for tasks as needed.
    • Assignments are primarily tasks completed on a regular basis (daily and as needed) and/or as assigned by department managers.
    • Will interpret/comprehend information from various technical documents and translate into instruction on work orders in ERP system.
    EDUCATION LEVEL:
    • High School
    SALARY RANGE: Contingent on experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Sitting – Routinely.
    • Walking – Occasionally.
    • Standing – Occasionally.
    • Bending/Stooping – Rarely.
    • Climbing – Stairs to office – Routinely.
    • Reading documents for general understanding – Routinely.
    • Reading documents for analytical purposes, reading for high degree of accuracy (contracts, technical reports and so on).
    • Viewing video display terminals (VDTs).
    • Proficient at typing on a keyboard – High volume keyboard input.
