Surgical Technician at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts with Call rotation.

Surgical Technologists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients. Surgical technologists work under the supervision of the surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures. Ensures that the operating room environment is safe, the equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Coursework/Training Obtains 6 CEUs per year.
• Upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Operating room experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
