Apprenticeship as Apparatus/Container Builder (m/f/d) in Memphis

Are you skilled in craftsmanship and enjoy working with metals?

As an apparatus and container builder, you will primarily manufacture containers and apparatuses using stainless steel and special materials, which will later be assembled into complex systems in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries.

At K+B, we pride ourselves on high-quality work.

This apprenticeship is recognized under the Crafts and Trades Regulation Act (HwO), lasts for 3.5 years, and concludes with a journeyman's examination.

Some of the training content includes:

Reading, applying, and creating technical documents
Testing and measuring
Manual and machine processing of sheets, pipes, and profiles
Welding, soldering, and thermal cutting
Manufacturing and assembling components and assemblies for apparatuses, containers, and pipelines
Installing measurement, control, regulation, and safety devices
Manufacturing and assembling support structures
Testing components and functions

What you should bring:

Good health (no nickel or skin allergies)
Interest and enjoyment in physical activity and versatility
Manual dexterity
Willingness to take responsibility
Technical understanding
Teamwork skills
Creativity
Completion of secondary school or 1year metal technical school, or equivalent education
