LPN Charge Nurse
Starting Pay:
Competitive rates up to $35.53 per hour, based on experience
Differentials Offered:
- Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Weekend Differential: $2.00 for hours worked on Saturday and Sunday
- Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours
Available Shifts:
- Part-Time 7
- Full Time 7
- Full-Time 31
- Part-Time 31
- Per Diem
Responsibilities:
The LPN Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing nursing services for assigned residents. This includes adhering to quality care standards, facility policies, legal requirements, medical practices, and physician instructions.
Key Duties:
- Efficiently plans and provides professional care while aligning with the needs of residents and the changing medical landscape.
- Maintains professionalism in interactions with residents, physicians, families, peers, and support staff.
- Documents crucial information related to resident care accurately and comprehensively.
- Administers prescribed medications and oversees accurate recordkeeping in line with facility policies.
Requirements:
- Valid state nursing license in good standing (or in the process of becoming a registered nurse).
- Indepth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and longterm care regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Collaborative team player with previous experience in longterm care preferred.
Additional Expectations:
All LPN positions require weekend on-call availability to support both staff and residents. Compensation details available upon inquiry. Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
