Are you located in the Ellicott City, MD area? With Brunel, you have the opportunity to continuously develop yourself with renowned clients.

We are currently looking for a Project Purchaser for an internationally operating company in the automotive industry.


Your Responsibilities

  • As a Project Purchaser, you will be responsible for all procurement competencies in the production material sector.
  • An important task is to enable order acquisition with renowned automotive manufacturers through competitive component prices and tool cost calculations.
  • You will also select development suppliers for the prototype phase.
  • In your role, you will conduct series awards for all purchasing volumes in customer projects.
  • You will accompany and manage nominated suppliers throughout the industrialization process, from product maturity levels to SOP.
  • Lastly, you will monitor quality, time requirements, and costs in customer projects.

Your Profile

  • Completed at least a 3year degree with a focus on business or technology, or completed technician/master training or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing, with indepth knowledge of procurement processes and basic knowledge of project management
  • Excellent English and German language skills, both written and spoken
