As an Engineer (m/f/d) for Model Development, you can expect the following challenges in Fairhope:

  • Development of real-time models for hardware-in-the-loop simulators for power converters, consisting of CPU and 1-4 FPGAs
  • Programming of the CPU using Matlab/Simulink
  • Development of FPGAs using NI Labview
  • Optimization of cycle times of 1-2 microseconds and CPU cycle time of 200 microseconds to meet high real-time requirements

Your Profile:

  • You have successfully completed a degree or training in electrical engineering, control engineering, or computer science
  • You have professional experience in simulating power converters, motors, and control electronics
  • You are proficient in using Matlab/Simulink, LabVIEW, and programming FPGAs and CPUs
  • Excellent German and English skills complete your profile
