Description

The Office of Fire and Disaster Management of the City of Hagen is responsible for the areas of fire protection, technical assistance, emergency medical services, civil and disaster protection.

It consists of approximately 350 full-time employees at two (potentially four) fire and rescue stations, as well as approximately 750 emergency personnel in 22 fire brigades of the Volunteer Fire Department.

Your responsibilities will include:

Deputy workshop coordination and deputy administrative management of the ITsupported inspection and administrative software
Maintenance of breathing apparatus and diving equipment, breathing connections, chemical protective suits, as well as measurement and detection technology with a focus on measurement and detection technology
Filling and providing breathing air and medical oxygen bottles
Conducting disinfection and decontamination measures in the department
ITsupported documentation of completed work and maintenance of equipment master data (location management, etc.)
Conducting stress exercises and training sessions (also in the evenings)
Deputy course management for training and further education in breathing apparatus
Technical instructor for measurement and detection technology (focus on technology)
Participation in procurement processes and technical review of invoices
Operational service as part of the integration service, Aservice at fire, accident and other emergency sites, as well as driver/operator on the breathing apparatus equipment vehicle
General duties resulting from fire service training and task performance

Your profile:
The position requires members of the fire service to have the qualification for the 1st career group, 2nd entry level for
