Manage the overall operations of the restaurant to ensure company standards are maintained. Creates a culture within the unit that expresses the mission and vision of the Flo?s Collection

Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

  • Understands the P&L and budgeting process. Completes accurate sales and cost projections
  • Accurately completes billings and reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Has a good working knowledge of specs and standards in both the FOH and BOH
  • Proactively identifies food, beverage and service opportunities during a shift
  • Accurately analyzes data to determine the strengths and opportunities of the restaurant
  • Uses questioning, observation and analysis to accurately identify the sources of problems
  • Demonstrates initiative and a sense of urgency in correcting substandard financial, operational or performance issues with management and staff
  • Effectively gets the management team to align on the priorities and to manage with consistency
  • Effectively communicates goals, roles and responsibilities to the management and staff
  • Facilitates effective manager meetings. Follows up and holds the team accountable for responsibilities and results
  • Writes an effective schedule that balances the need for team development and satisfaction with needs of the business
  • Achieves balanced and desired results in managing sales, costs, productivity, food and beverage quality, guest service, team morale and relationships with the community.
  • Builds trust and earns respect from the team. Models and develops a culture that promotes the Flo?s collection standards
  • Writes and delivers accurate and specific behavioral feedback to managers and staff consistently through one on ones and evaluations
  • Adheres to, supports and follows up with managers and staff on the standards of restaurant training programs and the hiring process. Takes a proactive, guest focused approach to all aspects of staffing
  • Seeks out and responds positively to guest feedback, always searching for ways to provide better quality food, beverage and service. Displays a sense of urgency in resolving guest issues and to the guest?s satisfaction
  • Promotes loyalty through developing regular guests and community involvement
  • Demonstrates consistency through words and actions. Seeks out, accepts and integrates constructive feedback
  • Follows through and commitments and meets deadlines
  • Creates a positive work environment and maintains control and composure through difficult situations
  • Oversees accuracy of payroll and processes weekly in a timely manner
  • Responsible for maintaining all aspects of building repairs and follows up to ensure things are fixed in a timely manner
