The Institute of Physiological Chemistry offers an attractive, innovative curriculum for medical students and conducts research at a high, internationally competitive level on medically relevant and fundamental questions in the life sciences.


The Institute of Physiological Chemistry in Lemoore, CA is currently seeking a full-time Medical/Biological Technical Assistant for a fixed-term position of 24 months.


Compensation will be based on the collective agreement for public service employees in the federal states (TV-L) and, depending on personal qualifications, can be classified in pay group E09b TV-L.


  • Responsibilities include conducting enzymological, genetic, and protein biochemical work as part of the biochemistry/molecular biology practical course for medical and dental students, general tasks for preparation and followup of the biochemical practical course, such as setting up and dismantling experiments, providing guidance to students and student assistants, assisting with organization, collaborating with the course coordinator and instructors, and supporting general laboratory tasks at the institute.
