We are looking for a ControllerThis is an opportunity to join a global organization and manage the accounting/finance functions for an exciting manufacturing plant.


Position Responsibilities:


  • Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions
  • Lead a small accounting team
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements.
  • Provide management with financial data and forecasting vital to the decisionmaking process.
  • Manage the overall budget.
  • Cost accounting
  • Continuous improvement
  • Internal controls and audit
  • Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement and lead implementation of new processes.
  • Evaluate accounting and internal control systems.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed.
  • Develop and monitor business performance metrics.
  • Oversee regulatory reporting.
  • Hire, train and retain skilled accounting staff.

Requirements:


  • Must have:
  • 10+ years of accounting/finance experience
  • 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing plant
  • 2+years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Pay:
$120, $135,000.00 per year
