Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties.

The Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of residential and commercial properties, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations
• Advertise and show available units to prospective tenants
• Screen potential tenants and conduct background checks
• Prepare lease agreements and enforce lease terms
• Collect rent payments and handle delinquencies
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations
• Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records of property expenses and income
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors

Skills:

• Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software
• Strong knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to property management
• Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs
• Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord/tenant law
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
• Strong administrative abilities, including record keeping and reporting
• Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to tenants
• Knowledge of facilities management principles
• Basic understanding of property maintenance practices
