Seeking Nurse Externs to join the Grand Strand Medical Center team
As a paid Nurse Extern, you will work as a patient care tech, as well as function under the direct supervision of an RN and perform specific and assigned tasks.
Available Units:
OrthopedicsGeneral Med/SurgWhat qualifications you will need:
Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
What you will do in this role: You will provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader.
You will accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently.
You will reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in your daily activities (as stated in Code of Conduct).
You will commit to work 24 hours a month. You will work 1 shift as a PCT and then have the opportunity to work 1 shift shadowing an RNBenefits
